Rancho Solano PTO, Inc - Who We Are

Rancho Solano PTO Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that houses the Greenway PTO Committee, Ventura PTO Committee and Mustangs Athletic Booster Club.

One of the many advantages of the creation of the RSPSPTO 501(c)(3) Inc. was that the Rancho Solano community would have one consolidated entity to navigate the application for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. After much time and due diligence, the approval was granted in June of 2019. Many are quite proud of the RSPSPTO Inc non-profit tax exemption status and feel that it is a benefit to the Rancho community.

The organization's goal is to support students, teachers and parents by providing educational and community-oriented events including, but not limited to, teacher/student appreciation, special meals for teachers, supporting athletics, fine arts, clubs, special events and school/department related requests. These events are largely held by the committees. All students and staff will benefit from the efforts of the organization. The organization will be funded through fundraising efforts that include events provided to the local community and hosted by the members of the organization.

As a parent you will largely be seeing the work of our Greenway, Ventura and Athletic booster Club committees to provide a memorable experience for our staff and students. We're excited to continue our work as "one Rancho PTO" through this structure and appreciate all the support of our Rancho Solano community!

Teacher & Student Apprecition

We've had a great start to the year in our first quarter and are looking forward to continuing the fun into the second quarter:

St. Jude Walk

This September, the Greenway PTO led our Mustang community in the fight against pediatric cancer by fundraising and walking together in the St. Jude Walk. Our team raised over $2,000 for the families treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the life-saving science they do there! It was a great way to come together for a good cause.

Bingo Night

Bingo Night

We capped off the first quarter with our annual Bingo Night. This year we were able to bring you the Spooktacular Halloween Bingo Night! Thank you to all who helped support this community event via donations, sponsor tables, volunteering and more. A big thank you to our Ventura Campus for being able to host us this year in the gymnasium. We had fun putting this event together and we hope you had fun, too!

Online Book Fair

Greenway PTO held our Fall Scholastic Book Fair in September. A big thank you to all who participated in this fair! With this fair we have been able to support our classrooms and teachers by putting close to $2000 worth of books in the classrooms and library. This was by far our most successful book fair yet!

Teacher Appreciation

Our teacher's have gone above and beyond this year to meet the needs of our student's education. We have stocked their lounge with weekly snacks to keep them going. Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping to take care of our teachers!

Student Appreciation

The PTO also supports our student population with little gifts and treats throughout the year. Homecoming and Halloween saw some special treats for our students.

Ventura School Support

Thanks to donor's generous donations, we were able to meet our fundraising goal of $25K! We were able to treat our students and staff with a pizza party and free dress day!

Ventura PTO General Meeting

Ventura Meetings:

Ventura PTO Committee General Meetings are open to Rancho Solano Family Members. Please attend these meetings, either in person or virtual. Our meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 8:15am in the cafeteria or via Zoom. Please see our website for our meeting dates/times, Zoom link information and meeting minutes.

Athletic Booster Club (ABC)

We are excited to announce our new and improved Mustangs Athletics Booster Club (ABC) Sponsorship Program! We appreciate your patience as we revised our website and simplified the ways that you can support our Mustangs Athletics programs. We have now made it easier and more streamlined to support the programs that are most important to you so your donation can have the biggest impact!

Below is the information on our 3 new Sponsorship Levels: Legacy, Platinum, and Gold. We are also providing a wish list for each program and the Athletic Department. While you are not limited to only giving towards these items, you now have the option to give directly to the items each program is requesting. However, if you would like to just make a general donation to a team or the athletic department, that is certainly welcome. Our PTO has been working hard to take advantage of many give back opportunities within our community. Below are a list of the ones that the PTO has chosen to begin this program with.
